Ever since I was a little girl, I always wanted a play kitchen. I mean, who didn't? Unfortunately we didn't have enough money and already had a ton of toys. Mostly all toys for boys because I grew up with an older brother. Now that I have the opportunity to give Kora things I didn't get growing up, I knew a play kitchen was in my future!
I decided on the IKEA DUKTIG play kitchen for its simplicity and size that would fit in the spot in our play room I wanted to put the kitchen in. As for color theme, like almost everything in my house, I knew I wanted the color theme to be neutral. My least favorite color is green, but for some reason I always gravitate to it. I also decided to spray paint rather than hand paint due to my experience with both and knowing that although having more room for error, spray painting is definitely easier and faster.
